El Puente (The Bridge)

Our services are available to:

​

• Schools – El Puente offers an ongoing support group at selected schools for students. The group covers anger management, conflict resolution, education support and positive choice making. 

​

• Parents/Family – Parents of at-risk and/or gang-affiliated youth gain the tools to increase positive parenting and relationships within the home. Through modeling, coaching and therapeutic support, parents build the capacity to support youth in acquiring new skills and shifting problematic dynamics. Parents learn how to define and set healthy boundaries, reinforce positive behavior and provide valuable emotional support to their children.

• Youth – El Puente staff supports youth in developing personal goals,  self-esteem, emotional awareness, interpersonal skills and cultivation of  their sense of purpose and community. Youth receive support and counseling individually and with parents and family.
