Transitions @ LifeWorks
Transitions at LifeWorks provides quality academic, career, and emotional support to young adults with Asperger’s Syndrome and Nonverbal Learning Disorders in a safe, thoughtfully prepared, and positive environment. Transitions is designed to give individuals support and advocacy for their advancement from adolescence to adulthood.
Vision
Self-reliance is paramount to clients’ long term success. Transitions at LifeWorks helps young people to discover and appreciate their individual strengths, limitations, and talents to realize their full potential.
Learn More!
While many people with Asperger’s syndrome have nonverbal learning disorder, not all do. Likewise, many people with nonverbal learning disorder do not have Asperger’s syndrome. While these disorders are separate, they both involve similar differences in processing information and those affected may benefit from the same types of treatment.
