LifeWorks of Sonoma County

Mental Health Agency

December 11, 2023

Dear Friends and Clients,

As you may have heard, LifeWorks of Sonoma County is merging with Community Action Partnership of Sonoma County (CAP Sonoma). We are so excited and grateful for this new relationship. LifeWorks will become the new Mental Health Department within CAP Sonoma. None of our services will change. You will receive the same wonderful services, by the same warm and caring counselors, in the same location as before.

Cynthia King, MSW, MPH is the current Chief Executive Officer for CAP Sonoma and will assume my duties. Cynthia has assembled a great team that will take CAP Sonoma and LifeWorks well into the future in part, by providing robust and expanded mental health services in our community. To learn more about CAP Sonoma, below is a link to their website.

This merger will be effective January 1, 2024. CAP Sonoma will begin updating their website with their many exciting changes early in 2024; and around this time, the LifeWorks website will become obsolete and all mental health information will live on CAP Sonoma’s website.

From our board of directors and staff, we want to thank you so much for your support of LifeWorks. We hope you will join us for an exciting future with CAP Sonoma.

My very best to you,

Chuck Fernandez

Interim Executive Director, Lifeworks
